Me and Nejc got granted last minute accreditation to Roxy Chicken Jam in Saalbach-Hinterglem. Since Elan chickicita Urška Pribošič also wanted to ride there, we took her with us. We started in the early morning and instead of 3,5 hours we drove almost 5...heavy snowing came across South side of Alps(but still-we were lucky, we met Neely who traveld the same distance in 8hrs just a bit later). Unfortunately ONLY south side of Alps-there was only few centimeters of natural snow in Hinterglemm. Anyways they 've built a perfect shape park and girls steped-up the game.
Format of competition was realy simple: you ride as hard as you can and if you made a good run, you're in the finals. Urška sure made it with fs3,bs3,fs5+easy rail action.
Weather got just a bit worse the next day. It was sunny about the clouds, but hella-windy. I got to top with gondola and wind took my board off the rack and made it fly right down the mountain. Luckily, there was Nejc and he found it in the same run. Qualified girlies joind the pros this day and there was no shortage of gnarly tricks like front to back 7z,...and Urška was just a bit unlucky this day. Anyways..we partied hard this night, there was a god concert and face-paint-job session by Roxy team which made everyting even better.
