Heeelllooo everybody,

so I got back from Dachstein. Checked everything out and now will fill you in on what I know:

It seems as if the weather is having a good time making jokes of us snowboarders this year. Out of 10 days spent there, I had 2 nice ones. Whenever the forecast was good, we would get up early the next morning and after pulling the curtains and looking at the mighty mountain, we found a typical view: Blubird everywhere, but above Dachstein was Mordor!  It seems the clouds just get stuck on the peak and don’t leave. (check out the pics yourself...it really does happen).

Weekends: well..after spending 2 in the park I realized there’s a better way to spend them. The park was filled with so many people it seemed like the pope was there. It’s really better to just go party and not ride the next day.

The setup:  Well..gotta say that I miss last year’s shapers a lot. It seems like this years are a little more flegmatic. (sorry boys)The shapes of kickers are also strange. In my opinion the kicker itself is too small in height for such a long table. So you go at full speed and still manage to land on the flat Marc-Frank Montoya style :(  Ouch my knees are screaming!

Otherwise at the top the jib line consists of big rainbow box and picnic table. Under is the speed rail and beside it a very wide box to have fun on.  Under that comes the double kink rail and a kink box beside it. In the end there’s a choice of a wall ride or the A-frame box.

Kicker line: The usual- 2 platforms of kickers. At the bottom there’s a really huge gap transfer. And to finish things of there are 2 tree trunks to bonk and beside them a C box.

All the way on the left are 3 small platforms of tiny kickers. But..they are nice for learning switch etc. If you go there, be sure to conquer the humungous corner :)

I also met my friends from Elan :) Jasmine and Rockafella. He was busy trying to do some crazy wallride to sitting on a roof on one container there, so I managed to chit chat with jasmine and get a pic in the meantime :)
