hey there! I just got back from Kaprun where the Chicken Jam took place this weekend. I went there together with Lisa, Aline and Silvi on Thursday to catch some powder before the event. On Friday was the qualification up on the glacier park. Really nice park, but speed and kinda flat landings were an issue. Not for Aline she won the qualification with a clean stylish run. I couldn´t watch the it because I was already on my way back to Innsbruck to accomplish my last presentation in university. After it was done successfully I went all the way back to Kaprun. On Saturday should have been the main session, but due to heavy storms up on the glacier they postponed it on Sunday. So we enjoyed riding the powder. Local Björn was our guide and showed us some nice runs with lots of little jumps. 15 girls were following him and Mone. Hihi. This perfect day ended with a relaxing sauna visit, a delicious dinner in the 4star hotel (thanks Tina for the invitation I enjoyed to the full!) and of course at the Xmas party. We didn’t stay there for a long time but were dancing enthusiastically! On Sunday the main event took place in the central DC Park. No wind there, sunshine and enough speed. After few practise runs every girl had 4 runs to show what she can do. The riding level was pretty high!! Lisa got 8th with a nice and clean Bs3 to Fs5 combo. I was going for the same but couldn’t land the 540 on the second jump. Anyway it was fun riding with all the girls! Yauuuuuu!
