Well, I guess this is the end of the season. I mean Spring riding before the summer starts. I just got back from Miss Super Park last week in Mammoth. It was a week filled with girls traveling together, living, riding and eating. It was a good way to finish the year with your best girl friends and catching-up on gossip that I had missed from my travels. There was 6 or 7 of us living at the good old View Point and I ended-up renting a Mini-Van, so I got voted the Team Mom and we were called the Mini-Van Mafia. Anyways, it was all fun and laughs. We got to the hill for the first day and Mother nature wasn't that nice to Mammoth this year so it was harder for Snowboarder Mag to do amazing features like last year. But after some grooming and feature testing, the weather cleared-up as well so the 2 last days were really good. The Chicas were all there and we got to ride together the hip and snowmobile together again. On day 3 a few of us stayed and did a sunset-shoot on the hip. They took us out with the Cat and with only a a quick break, we all headed to the local bar for a show and a dance party. On the last day, it was pretty mellow but got to ride the 1/4 pipe finally for a bit and then called it a day. We partied one last night for the Karaoke night were most people could actually hold a really good tune. We all embraced before leaving that night for a job well done and happy to once again see old friends . The Mini-Van Mafia hit the road the next morning early enough to hit some shopping in Reno before flying back to Vancouver. I'm happy to have some little time off for a few weeks. I'm spending all my time painting my walls in my house. One wall at a time....... It will look great by the time it's time to go do some summer shredding. P.S.: Lisa and Conny.......I didn't see you that last night......did you fall asleep before going out?????? You ditched me after dinner. Hahahaha! Just kidding. I didn't want to go but it ended-up being real fun. Dom
