Just got to Mammoth last week to do a half-pipe camp with the my National Team. Lots of riding till the Olympics. It’s been picture perfect. Super Sunny in the morning so we go up at 8am and ride the perfect pipe till 11:30 when the walls are starting to get kinked. Then go back to our condo, have some lunch and then at 2 we have Parcour training....... Yup, freestyle walking/jumping around everywhere, climbing walls and fences all over Mammoth Village, everybody looking at us weird. This get’s you into shape real fast and it’s a fun work-out. I find it’s sort of the games that you used to play when you’re a kid. The first day of Parcour, I got huge blisters on the palm of my hands. That’s what you get when you walk more on your hands then on your feet during a workout. Now I have to wear gloves to do everything.
On our days off we go to the natural hot-springs or play tennis and work on our tans by the pool.
It’s been really great.
Here till Monday and then I leave for a mini time off in Montreal with my family.
Hope you everybody is doing great and enjoying the summer time.
Lots of love.
Dom
PS: this is a photo taking at sunset when we went to the hot springs.
