It's been a while and I've been so far away from the snow. A month long surf trip in Mexico sounds like a dream and it really was. I think it was the best trip of my life I and I have pretty high standards. I left with my best friend Annie and we went straight to Sayulita where we met a lot of great friends. We surfed twice a day and live in little Palapas right on the beach right in front of the left and right break. It's dead season there so we were some of the rare tourists there, it was perfect. Then we met-up with Benji and his friend Luc and went down South to this Indian reserve to go surf La Ticla for 10 days. It was messy and big and then the Hurricane hit so we had to leave for a few days. It was pretty miserable but after I surf the biggest waves of my life and scared the crap out of myself. Annie and I then drove back up to Sayulita for a few more weeks and did lots of boat trips for the best surf ever. I just got back to Montreal a few days ago for family and to do a gymnastic camp with the National Team. I should be doing 1260's in no time. He he he ! Here are a few photos, my favorite one is me just a split second before eating it in the surf. Ya, you can blow it up and laugh at me all you want. Dom
