HI!!! I've had a fully packed few weeks traveling in the States. I first left my Powder Wonderland of Whistler to go to Las Vegas to do our catalogue shoot with Rip Zone and Powder Room. Of course, just like last year, it was a great time filled with great food, lots of drinks and of obviously really hot photos. We went to Vegas to shoot in this graveyard of old Vegas signs. It was so cold, so in-between shot we would hang out in this great fancy RV that they rented filled with food and satellite TV. So after a quick 2 days there, Brad, Mercedes and I rushed to Colorado to go do the Grand-Prix in Breckenridge. My dad met us in Denver airport and we all drove like a happy family to Breck. I was so happy to see him finally. The contest came quick and it was about -30 that day. Things went ok but it got much more fun that night at the Paul Michel Pipe Session. So many people showed up and it was a great jam, they even groomed the pipe again and added a few rails and boxes on the lower walls. It was picture perfect! We rode for about 2.5 hours and everybody was going off. Things finished pretty well for me as I got second. So I left Breckenridge pretty happy to this quick pipe start to the year. Right, I do remember how to ride this thing!!!!! Then from Denver I flew straight to LAX to go and visit some friends in San Diego. By the time I got there, I was pretty tired and filled up on great food, sleep , a little bit of surfing, golfing and great time with friends. Now, as I'm writing this blog, I'm stuck in LAX airport surrounded by grumpy holiday travelers with most of the flights delayed for all sorts of weird reason. I'm heading back to my roots to see my family in Quebec. Wishing everybody all the best for the Holidays!!!! Merry Ho Ho's and lots of love, great food and great company. Xxxxx dom
