Go Pro! That was the First Stop of the Elan Snowboards Trick Tip Tour @ Horsefeathers Superpark Planai

Last weekend, the very first Elan Snowboards Trick Tip Tour stop at the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai saw ambitious shredheads crowding the park, eager to shred with the Elan pros. Even though the weather wasn’t exactly fit to be on a post card, the park was in great shape, motivating everyone to spend a great day in the snow.

The thing about the weather is: it’s never, ever right. Even though the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai truly can’t complain about low snow levels at the moment, the conditions last weekend weren’t exactly cosy. Of course, that didn’t keep passionate shredheads from swarming to the Planai last Saturday, in order to try out the newest Elan snowboarding equipment and, best of all: shred with the Elan pros and try or learn their tricks. Dejan Hodzic, Matevz Pristavec, Anja Stefan, Rudi Janda and Christoph Messner did their best and proved to be patient teachers, especially when they showed their protégés some nice powder runs later that day.

The bad weather didn’t stifle the great atmosphere in the least, as Parkdesigner Andi Röck recalls: “Everyone was really motivated; especially the kids and they were absolutely stoked to shred with real pros. The Elan crew was really easy-going and great to work with! They loved the park and the setup and they’d like to come again, which I’m really proud of.”

The shooting with the Elan pros, initially scheduled for Sunday, January 8th, had to be postponed because the weather grew even more revolting overnight. The new date is Thursday, January 12th – more visual material, including massive video edits, is to be released later this week, so stay tuned!

The next two stops of the Elan Snowboards Trick Tip Tour are just around the corner and will take place in the Morea Snowpark on January 14th and 15th and in the Snowpark Scuol on January 21st and 22nd.
